One Very Lucky Nissan GT-R Driver Avoids Wall Not Once, Not Twice but Thrice - While straight-line races in a protected environment like a drag strip are considered relatively safe compared to other forms of racing, that doesn't necessarily make them fool-proof as things can go wrong for a great number of reasons.
In this quarter mile race between two Nissan GT-R coupes, one of the drivers lost control of the car shortly after taking off and began turning around missing both walls by inches. Very lucky indeed.
